What is better than an ice cream truck? A family owned ice cream truck that is run by people who live in the community that they serve. An ice cream truck that supports and gives back to the community. An ice cream truck that plays swing music and other fun (and unconventional) tunes. And an ice cream truck that you can have come to your party, event, or fundraiser. The Sweet CherryIt is AMAZING! It was such a pleasure to photograph some promotional photos for them. Not only are they an asset to our community, they are people that I can call my friends. People that I trust. I get the privilege of having a second photo shoot with this family this weekend. A family photo shoot. I am very much looking forward to it! 🙂

I don’t know about you, but growing up, the ice cream truck made my day! It rarely ever came onto my street because I lived on a cul-de-sac that wasn’t part of a housing tract. When they would come, I would come running out barefoot to try to catch it. When it came time to order, I would do what every kid does, I would stall due to indecisiveness.  I remember the ice cream man would be a different man every time and 99% of the time, they were mean. I remember being yelled at once too. Such a bummer. It’s really nice to know that there is a nice and trustworthy ice cream truck in our neighborhood.
